10 Mar For the Love of Rosewater
So I had a couple of friends visit a week ago, and one of my friends told me that she had something in her pantry that she was so excited to have, but had no idea what to do with. Rosewater. Rosewater is incredibly nostalgic for me and most Middle Eastern people. I gave her a few tips on what she could do with it instead of just collecting dust on her shelf. On nights where I have no bubble bath I like to add a few droplets in my bathwater and it gives an incredibly soft aromatic scent in the air as well as acts as a mild natural toner for your skin. I also like to put a teaspoon or so in my tea, it gives it a wonderful fragrance and a slight floral taste. I also like to put some in my lemonade in the Summer times. I muddle some fresh mint, lemons and honey, and add a few dashes of Rosewater and your typical lemonade is transformed to a gourmet refreshing summer afternoon delight.
